Description Rena's villa position is stunning.Set on a hillside overlooking the sea ,the villa boasts fantastic sweeping views over unspoilt countryside filled with olive groves,down to the sparkling azure sea.
The villa offers fantastic degree of privacy and there are a few signs of habitation as far as the eye can see.However as the bustling harbor of Makrigialos is only 3 kms away,you can have privacy without sacrificing convinience.With the car you can easily reach the noumerous tavernas,shops and unspoilt beaches through your holiday stay.
The villa offers particularly spacious accommodation with a total of four bedrooms (3 double-1 single)arranged over two floors,and two lovely terraces,one on the ground floor at the front of the house,and the other on the first floor leading off one of the bedrooms.
The traditional fill of the house,which strikes you immediately upon seeing the thick,stone-walled exterior as you approach along the rough track leading to the house,is echoed in the interiors which have been furnished to an extremely high standards with family heirlooms and antiques.
The bedrooms have lovely old iron bedsteads with decorative metalwork and modern floors and shutters.The very special living area boasts an open fireplace and to one side is a large wellequipped kitchen area with a full oven and fridge.Access to the ground floor double bedroom and shower room is also off the lounge and a solid wooden staircase leads to the first floor bedrooms and a bathroom.All the bedrooms on the first floor have atractive sloping beamed ceilings,and from the single bedroom there is access to a large terrace at the front of the house which is a perfect spot to sit in the quiet of the late evening and watch for shooting stars.
Outside is the pool area with the barbeque and the garden with a tamarisk tree.
The house offers a perfect combination of the peace and tranquility of Vagia,with the shops and nightlife of Makrigialos just a short drive away.
NotesMakrigialos is located 120 kms from Heraklion airportto the southeast of the island of Crete.
