Description Apartments on or within 250 metres of the world famous Royal Mile - run on a hotel basis with minimum one night stay.

The Castle Apartments is your home away from home in the heart of historical Edinburgh. The Royal Mile is the backbone of the Edinburgh’s charming and romantic Old Town, running from Edinburgh Castle to the Palace of Holyrood House.

Your Castle Apartment is designed with your comfort in mind. Fantastic beds, bath and powerful shower, fully equipped kitchen and lounge with TV and DVD player (with complimentary access to our DVD Library) will ensure you enjoy a truly memorable break in this most wonderful of cities.

All linen and towels are provided, and all guests receive a welcome pack consisting of cereal, milk, tea and coffee. All our apartments are strictly NON-SMOKING and due to central location there can be noise.

Guests can expect comfortable apartments in a fabulous historic setting. Please note that our apartments are located in historical buildings, and that there is no lift. Due to the layout of the city, guests may be required to climb a number of steps to reach their accommodation Guests who have mobility problems are kindly asked to inform us of this when booking

Our Concierge Team are on hand to ensure you get the most out of your stay. We can book you onto tours of Scotland, organise car hire, as well as giving some local insight of where to go and what to do. Guests can take advantage of discounts at top local restaurants and can enjoy daily access to one of the cities finest gyms.

Extras: Internet, telephone, fax and safe are all available at our central office (may incur additional charge).

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS ONLY THE LOCATION OF OUR OFFICE AND THAT YOU WILL BE SUPPLIED WITH THE DIRECTIONS AND KEYS TO YOUR APARTMENT.

This fantastic facility, which has recently been refurbished, is ideally located right in the heart of Edinburgh City Centre; 550 meters from Edinburgh Bus Station, and 800 meters from Waverly Train Station.

Check out time is 10:00
Late checkouts can be arranged prior to arrival or with the concierge at check-in. There is a fee for this service of £10 per hour. The latest check-out time is 1400 hrs.

We do also offer a complimentary luggage storage facility before and after checkout.

Please also note that we do not offer parking. Guests can park at one of the near by NCP car parks, which offer a security parking place during your stay with us.

Directions

From Edinburgh Airport to Queen Street:
Exit Edinburgh Airport Exit on to East Field Road – follow signs for the City Centre/Edinburgh Zoo. Go through Eastfield Road and turn left onto the A8. Enter into Edinburgh carrying on Glasgow Road (A8). Go through the Drumbrae Roundabout and onto Saint John's Road (A8). This will become Corstorphine Road (A8). Turn right on the Roseburn Terrace (A8). Carry onto West Coates, which becomes Haymarket Terrace (A8). Turn left into Haymarket (A8) and carry on West Maitland Street. This becomes Shandwick Place (A8) which becomes Princes Street. Turn left onto South Charlotte Street (A90) which becomes Charlotte Square and then North Charlotte Street. Turn right onto Albyn Place, and turn left into Queen Street. We are at number 6 Queen Street (opposite end) on the right hand side, next to the Jam House.

From EDI Airport. Costs approximate:

•Airlink Bus 5 GBP (return)

The Airport bus departs every 15 minutes. Guests must disembark at the Waverly Bridge terminus (opposite Waverly Station). Reception and key collection is approx. 7 -10 minute walk from here.

At end bear right then at T-junction turn left onto Morrison Street - B700 Edinburgh International Conference Centre At traffic signals continue forward onto Bread Street Turn left onto Spittal Street Continue forward onto Castle Terrace Continue forward onto Johnston Terrace Turn right onto Lawnmarket. From EDI Airport. Costs approximate Taxi 20 GBP City Bus 5 GBP The airport bus departs every 15 minutes. Guest must get off at the train station, which is about a 7 minute walk uphill to the apartments
